How far is Casa Sabrina from the airport?

The Gustavo Diaz Ordaz Airport is located about 20 minutes away from Casa Sabrina.  There will be many taxis, SUV's, and Vans on hand to take you to the Villa.  The cost will be around $20 to $50 depending on the vehicle.

Casa Sabrina is a ten minute cab ride from downtown.  Taxis are readily available from the main gate and the cost is about $8 to $10 dollars to get into town.

Should I rent a car?

Only if you want to explore outside areas of Puerto Vallarta and go deeper into Mexico.  Taxis are everywhere, they are clean and inexpensive.

How far is Casa Sabrina from the Beach?

Casa Sabrina is a 5 minute walk to a private beach.  The staff will take down chairs, towels and an ice chest for you.  They will even bring you down appetizers if you let them know about when you would like them.  There is a restaurant down on the beach as well. 

Tell me more about the staff.

The staff includes a housekeeper, a Master chef who is amazing, and a groundskeeper/ waiter.  They are the best in all of Puerto Vallarta.  You will want to take them home, but please refrain.

Is food included in the rental rate?

The cost of food and beverages is not included in the rental price. The Chef picks up the food/alcohol for you, then you reimburse him the actual cost. He will give you the receipts and he will go to the market with the best price.  Or you can pick stuff up yourselves and have him cook it.  Go fishing and bring him back fresh fish he will turn it into an amazing meal.

Isn't Casa Sabrina more expensive than a hotel?

When you take into account it has four bedrooms that each would equate to a suite at a hotel and it comes with an amazing staff, it is actually cheaper.  Plus it is private and in a gated community.

Does a weekly rental always start on the same day each week?

You can arrive on any day of the week, as long as the villa is available.
What time is check in and check out?

Check out time is 11:00 AM, check in time is 12:00PM. We are flexible and will work with you to suit your needs. You may also store your luggage at the villa before or after check in and check out.

Is there a limit on the number of guests?

The maximum number of guests is limited to twelve persons. If more than 10 people arrive, they may be denied occupancy or an additional charge of US $50 per person, per night will apply.

Is there a minimum age requirement?

Yes, there must be at least one individual who will be an occupant of Casa Sabrina during the entire term of this rental agreement who is at least 25 years of age. If you are less than 25 years old and interested in renting, please inquire. We may consider renting to you with an additional deposit.

How far in advance should we make our reservation?

As soon as possible.  Just look at our reservation calendar and if the date is available grab it fast as we advertise a lot and dates go fast.

What about tipping in Mexico?

Tipping of the employees is strictly voluntary although customary in Mexico. The amount would depend, of course, on the service, number of guests, the length of the stay, service, etc. We are often asked how to tip and have established a guideline that may be of help to you. $5-$8 per person in your party per day seems to be the average. This tip would be divided among the entire staff.

Are children welcome?
Yes and No. We have huge balcony's and many steps that are not always safe for the youngsters.
